However, she noted that after an hour of what she described as “rambling,” “the President’s remarks became increasingly untruthful and disrespectful to both members of Congress and the American people.”
Later that day, Scanlon commented on economic issues affecting Americans. She attributed rising living costs and a declining stock market to former President Donald Trump’s policies.
