On February 5, 2025, Scanlon expressed her commitment to advancing opportunities for women in sports through a meeting with the Women’s Sports Foundation. She stated: “Great to meet with @WomensSportsFdn to discuss how to forge a path forward in this administration so we can create equal opportunities and foster safer environments for girls and women to play sports.”
