On Sunday, March 9, former Penncrest High School standout Sam Dinitz’s current college team, the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sacred Heart Pioneers.

The game took place at E. T. Straw Family Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 4 p.m. at Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium against Maryland Terrapins.
