High%2520school036

Chester Community CS issued the following announcement on Sept. 20.

Dear CCCS 7th Grade Families,

At CCCS, the health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority. The new school year has brought about challenges for schools across America. CCCS is no different.

This letter is to inform you that a student or staff member in our 7th grade has tested positive for COVID-19. Your child was not a close contact with this person who tested positive for COVID-19.

In accordance with CDC Guidelines and our Health & Safety Plan however, we are required to shut down in-person learning for all our 7th grade students from now through Monday, September 27th. Students may return to in-person learning on Tuesday, September 28th.

The entire 7th grade will move to our virtual learning platform beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, September 21st.

Students are being sent home today with a Chromebook and log-in information in order to conduct classes virtually.

If you have any questions regarding virtual learning, please contact your child’s teacher directly or email Cynthia Hyland, our Director of Instructional Technology chyland@chestercommunitycharter.org.

If you have questions related to the Health & Safety Plan, please utilize the contact us form on the Chester Community Charter School website: www.chestercommunitycharter.org/contact.

Sincerely,

Dr. David E. Clark, Jr.

CEO, Chester Community Charter School
