Chester Community CS issued the following announcement on Sept. 27.
Dear CCCS Families,
In order to maintain the highest levels of safety for our entire CCCS community, we are asking for your assistance keeping our buildings safe. Following is a list of requirements for students to continue in- person instruction.
- Every person in our buildings and on our buses is required to wear a face covering at all times. Please send your child to school with proper face coverings. However if he or she needs one, we will provide it.
- Parents MUST be responsive. In the event of an emergency, we must be able to get in contact with you. Please make sure the school has your correct and updated contact information on file. If you are non-responsive during an emergency, your child will no longer be permitted to participate in our in-person learning environment.
- CCCS has zero-tolerance policy for behavior that jeopardizes the health and safety of other members of our school community. If your child displays behavior that is unsafe for the school community, they will no longer be permitted to participate in our in-person learning environment.
- It is all parents’ responsibility to screen their children every day before sending them to CCCS. If you knowingly send your sick child to school, you will be in direct violation of our health and safety guidelines and your child will no longer be permitted to participate in our in-person learning environment.
