Updated Letter from Dr. Clark in Regards to Returning to Classrooms

Genbusiness006

Chester Community CS issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

Dear CCCS Parents and Families:

As promised, I am writing to update you with the latest information about operations at CCCS. Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, most students will be returning to their classrooms for in-person instruction. There are some exceptions.

Please know that we are taking every necessary step to keep our entire community safe while also providing our students with the best learning experience possible. This is a difficult time and it requires patience and cooperation from all of us. Please read the following points carefully to understand operations for the rest of this week.

  • All 7th grade students will continue to learn virtually for the remainder of this week. We have a large number of staff absences in 7th grade due to COVID exposures and infections. As of now, we are planning for 7th grade students to return to in-person learning on Monday, January 10th, 2022.
  • Some individual classrooms in K-5 may be required to learn virtually if their teachers are absent for exposure or infection. In these cases, students and families will be contacted directly by teachers or principals.
This is a rapidly evolving situation and circumstance may change quickly. Please continue to monitor correspondence from the school and check CCCS’s website for updates.

Thank you for your continued patience, cooperation, and support of our students’ learning. Sincerely,

Dr. David E. Clark, Jr

CEO, Chester Community Charter School
